Description: For this lesson we started off with trying six different watercolor techniques that we could later use in our final project. My six techniques are on the left side of the picutre. This was fun to get to experiment and test out different techniques that we could use. Once we were done with the test page we started on our final project. I chose to do a blue and purple sky/background with black mountians at the bottom. I also added stars in the sky. I ended up using five of the six techniques to give it a good variety.

Extension Activity: If I were to do an extention activity I would have students create a landscape based of a place they have traveled or seen. This would allow students to express what they have experinced in their life and also create something that may be meaningful to them.
